Victor, I'm sorry I still don't understand the problem. We start discwizard or cpustress without the need to use memdisk. My comment is about starting dban in a similar way.
If the problem is the specific boot screen, I can reproduce the same first boot screen for dban as you posted (with cli boot prompt), and with a single "enter" the user gets to a syslinux menu, which is also able to show the same help texts. Or, it can start directly with the menu and go back to the help screens (with or without cli prompt). The same methods that are used in the official dban can still be used.
