How to Burn ISO onto CD

This is going to sound very newbie. This should be a very basic thing, but I can't find any definitive answer anywhere.

I downloaded the latest version of UBCD. I burned the iso image onto a CD-R using BurnCDCC. But instead of seeing this, like you said I should:

c:\ubcd-extracted\
boot\
pmagic\
ubcd\
autorun.inf
license.txt

I see absolutely nothing when I click on the CD Drive under My Computer. Did I do something wrong? This iso image still took up almost all the space I have on that CD. I really don't see any other way I could have possibly burned the image onto the CD. I followed the few simple steps that I was told.
